History is full of cheeky little boys who liked to mess with their babysitters. Dennis the Menace would torment them with his catapult, and Bart Simpson would fake his own death -- all good clean fun.

But none of these lovable scamps actually crossed over into the land of extreme real-world violence. For that we turn to a boy in Jackson, Ohio USA. According to police reports, this four-year-old lad recently grabbed a gun from a closest and shot his baby sitter.

According to witnesses, the child was furious that the babysitter had stepped on his foot. The babysitter, Nathan Beavers, 18, was hospitalised with wounds to his arm and side after the shotgun attack. Another teen was also injured. Beaver was watching the boy in a mobile home with several other children around when the attack occured. So far the little rascal has not been charged.

We used to think kids were all so innocent. But now we've seen this story, and this video of a kid losing it after getting a Wii for Christmas, we might as well live in the Village of the Damned.

They just started! The actual live pageant isn't until January 24th I believe. But if you go to Miss America: Countdown to the Crown, you can vote on which girl you like - based on different categories. Right now, it's the 'First impressions poll'. The top 2 girls I liked were in the top 2 so far! They also have other cool stuff on their site that you can check out

John Travolta's Teenage Son Dies
Jan. 2 John Travolta's 16-year-old son Jett has died while vacationing with his parents in the Bahamas. Reuters reports that Jett suffered a seizure at the Old Bahama Bay Hotel on Grand Bahama Island. A spokeswoman for the local police said Jett banged his head on a bathtub Friday morning. TMZ broke the story this afternoon and Rand Memorial Hospital confirmed the death.
"At this point, we know that John Travolta and Kelly Preston's only son, Jett, had a seizure at around 10 AM this morning," the family's attorney Michael Ossi told CNN. "All attempts to revive him were unsuccessful."
The Travolta family has long denied rumors that Jett suffered from autism, claiming that the boy instead had Kawasaki Syndrome, an inflammatory disorder of the artery walls which often leads to heart disease. Jett, who had a history of seizures, was the eldest child of Travolta and Preston. The couple also have a daughter, Ella Blue, who is 8.

Anyone else a fan of Miss America? I'm so excited that it's back again and the reality show airs tonight! This time I hear that we'll be able to vote too! Right now, I like Miss Idaho, Miss Mississippi, Miss Missouri, and Miss Massachusetts. They all look like really fun gals, lol. I can't wait to see them "live" though.
